For a long time now, I’ve considered the idea of taking donations, either to go towards the random hobby stuff that I want but can’t afford, or for the hilarious idea I had about getting my followers/Tumblr at large to pay me for something absurd. I don’t really expect anything to come of this little project, but I figured it was worth a shot.
The first two projects up are:
a) Buying a Pickmaster Punch. I have a box of about 150 credit/gift/rewards cards, and several friends in bands that thought it would be cool if I could get my hands on a guitar pick hole punch like I posted on Facebook. Unfortunately I still have the last bit of my speeding ticket to pay off, so the Pickmaster is out of my price range still. Price: $39 Donated: $4.00
b) Operation Jim Carrey: If I can collect enough money to buy a tailored orange tuxedo (think Lloyd Christmas in Dumb and Dumber), I will wear it out for a night on the town in Rochester. Price: $219.99 Donated: $1.00
